Personal Data Processing Policy

The controller of your data is ORPLAST spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka Jawna (hereinafter referred to as Orplast) with its registered office in Sopot at ul. Obodrzyców 42, (postal code 81-812) correspondence address ul. Marynarki Polskiej 73a, 80-557 Gdańsk, entered in the National Court Register of Entrepreneurs under the KRS number 0000895344, holding the Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5850007675, Business Registry Number (REGON): 190330980. In matters related to the processing and protection of personal data, a contact point has been designated in the form of an e-mail address: orplast@orplast.pl. Contact in the indicated matters is also possible in the form of traditional correspondence to the Controller’s correspondence address with the note: “Personal Data Protection” and in person at the address ul. Marynarki Polskiej 73a, 80-557 Gdańsk during office hours. The data are processed in compliance with the requirements of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)(EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter: the “GDPR”).

The purposes of personal data processing

The personal data you provide shall be processed for the following purposes and periods:

  • for persons filling in the contact form or sending correspondence to Orplast – for the purpose of contact, in connection with the establishment of cooperation and/or conclusion of a contract – until the withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data or until the date of conclusion of a contract (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR);
  • direct marketing – newsletter – in the case of a separate consent, until you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data for this purpose (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR);
  • in the case of the conclusion of a contract – in order to perform a sales or service contract – the processing is necessary for the performance of the contract, until the contract is concluded and the claims and obligations arising therefrom expire, and thus constitutes a legitimate interest of the Controller (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  • financial-accounting-taxation – in cases where the processing is necessary to comply with the law (pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), for the period provided for in the generally applicable law;
  •  defence against claims and the pursuit of claims – until such time as the claims and/or liabilities expire in accordance with the provisions of generally applicable law – the legitimate interest of the Controller arising from the need to defend its rights (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR); – the conduct of complaints handling processes, which arises both from the Controller’s legal obligations and from its legitimate interest in conducting its business with due diligence (pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) and (f) of the GDPR), for the period until the expiry of the claim handling.

In order to provide the highest level of service, we use cookies with the application of the Google Analytics tool. Using our website means that the cookies will be placed on your device. 

These files allow us to keep statistics on the viewing of individual sites, which enables us to constantly improve the presented content, and they also allow us to maintain a user session after logging in.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access the content of your data and the right to rectify it, delete, restrict its processing, the right to data transfer, and the right to object at any time. You also have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your data are being processed by the Controller.

If your data are processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw this at any time, which does not affect the correctness of the processing prior to its transfer to Orplast. To withdraw your consent, you can contact the customer service department at our head office or at the office at ul. Marynarki Polskiej 73a, 80-557 Gdańsk or by sending an e-mail to: orplast@orplast.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Information on the transfer of data to other entities

Personal data may be made available to other authorised entities, based on the provisions of the law, as well as to entities with whom Orplast has concluded a contract for outsourcing the data processing in connection with the provision of services to the controller or to others ensuring the security of personal data (e.g. hosting company, accounting offices, external auditors, law firms, authorised public administration bodies, courier companies, shipping agents, transport companies, etc.).

The Controller shall not transfer the data outside the European Economic Area, subject to the transnational nature of the data flow resulting from the cookies within the scope of Google Analytics with the application of anonymisation and security protection principles applied by Google to this data. The Google Analytics Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. At the same time, we remind you that you can disable cookies in your browser settings, which makes this functionality voluntary.

Other information

Your provision of personal data is entirely voluntary. Failure to provide personal data, however, will result in the impossibility of establishing cooperation, and in the case of its undertaking, the full performance of the obligations assumed by Orplast under the contracts concluded with you.
